Destinationless Road Trip
I started a road this Wednesday with a friend, who will henceforth be referred to as Dave. That sort of makes sense, since his name actually is Dave. And actually I probably won’t reference him again. The plan was to have no destination, to just go and see what’s up. My hope was to blog once a day and try and delve into social or cultural things that this trip has made me think about. Notice that it’s Friday. I was going to try posting on my phone. Turns out the iPhone app for WordPress likes to lose things. Like the posts I’ve done for the past two days. So when I get home, I will probably put up a few posts that were meant to be uploaded this week. The only reason I have internet access now is that we found a McDonalds in the middle of Pennsylvania with free wifi.
But you can follow my newly created Twitter account as I tweet my way along. Hear exciting adventures about battery acid and 85-year-old tour guides. My username is SocioMatt, a name that was considered for this blog. I decided it was too creepy. Somehow it fits for Twitter.
